MY HOUSE
My pretty house is a hundred year old wooden cottage in a large garden. It has a west-facing furnished verandah (shaded by palms) that has wonderful sunset views over the sea.

The house still has many of its original features (for example the multi-paned windows) and is decorated in an arty colourful style.

The small 50s galley-style kitchen looks out on a steep rainforested hill which has a waterfall visible at the top.

The living room is small but warm and bright.

THE GUEST ROOM
The pretty guest bedroom has an antique brass double bed, plenty of storage space, and a computer with internet.

THE SITUATION
This is an area of extraordinary peace and beauty. There is a beach a few hundred metres in front of the house and a steep hill covered with rain forest right behind. The sounds you can hear are birds and the sea.

THE VILLAGE OF GRANITY
Granity is a small attractive rural village with an unusual concentration of artists and craftspeople. There is a cafe, a craft shop/gallery, a second hand shop, a fish & chip shop, a library and a museum.
