A little about the place: our apartment is a 1 BR located right in the heart of Haifa. It has 1 BR, kitchen, separate toilet and shower rooms, spacious living room (with comfortable pull out couch for guests), and dining room/work space. I consider the house an artist's house. We have been using one of the rooms for a lot of painting and we are constantly playing music, making art, writing, etc. It's a very inspiring space! It's very airy and open, it has a small view of the Mediterranean from the living room window and from the roof you have a front row seat every night to Haifa's most beautiful attraction: it's sunsets!
The apartment itself is located in one of the best neighborhoods in Haifa. Located in Merkaz Horev, you are literally seconds away from the city center with shops, restaurants, cute little cafes, pubs, bars, the theatre, gyms, etc. The best thing I love about Haifa is that you really have a little bit of everything. It offers beautiful nature, mountains and ocean within a 5 minute car ride, modern shops and rich culture, and the best restaurants in the north of Israel. You can have quiet or you can emerse yourself inthe city life, its up to you. The apartment is on a side road. So while still being seconds away from all the hustle and bustle, you will find peace and quiet at home. Haifa was voted the #5 most beautiful city in the entire Mediterranean. It is in the center of everything. No matter where you go by car you will have incredible views the entire way. Israel is simply gorgeous. It is a half hour away from the ancient city of Akko, where you can feel like you've stepped back in time. It is an hour and a half car ride from Ramat Golan, a nature lover's paradise. It offers riverways, swimming holes, kayaking, endless hiking opportunities, mountains, camping, fishing, and incredible views (especially at sunset). Its an hour away from famous Sea of Galilee and an hour and a half from the Dead Sea. Haifa is a straight shot to Tel Aviv and it is possible to get there in less than an hour. And if you dont want to rent a car, Haifa is extremely public transportation friendly. There are trains and buses, local and non, that take you anywhere you want to go. And of course, Haifa has some of the most beautiful beaches Israel has to offer with a boardwalk full of tasty options to wet your appetite.
