At Jordan River there is surfing. the Galloping Goose trail stretches from Victoria to beyond Sooke, it is a former railway line ,ideal for cycling,or hiking. The cool pristine waters of the Sooke river canyon, namely the Sooke Potholes, provide refreshing waters to swim in.
Sooke was represented during the Olympics,at the Ozone.Google Sooke and see for yourself.
It is one of the best places to go whale watching too. I love living here!We are also open to reciprocal B&B. Victoria airport YYJ is our closest airport approx. one hour drive away.
