Located on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria Australia, a popular all year round holiday resort (don’t expect to ever see any snow). The house is located on a narrow section of the peninsula within walking distance to the front beach (safe for all ages) and back beach with direct ocean access (see photo). The back beach foreshore is part of an extended national park system with many walking trails.

The house has 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms (master has en-suite) is located on a flat block and is single storey. It is located within walking distance of Blairgowrie shopping village and restaurants and a bus stop that inter-connects with the Melbourne metropolitan transport network. There is public transport available from the Tullamarine airport to Blairgowrie.

LOUNGE.

The lounge area is tastefully furnished, reading lamps, coffee table, remote control LCD television, D.V.D. Player and stereo, offering plenty of room for the whole family to relax.
The area is covered by the Telstra Mobile network which includes Internet access via GPRS. Both provide international communication linkages.

KITCHEN.

Overlooking the Dining area, the fully equipped kitchen includes - Gas hot plates and electric stove, eye-level microwave, refrigerator / freezer, toaster, all cook ware, crockery, cutlery, glasses and the all-important Dishwasher - everything you require to prepare a meal with no need to do the washing up afterwards !

DINING AREA.

Separated from the kitchen by a bench the dining room is furnished with a colonial table setting for 6 adults and opens out into a Tee Tree landscape.

MASTER BEDROOM.

The master bedroom has a Queen size bed with book case headboard, matching dressing table and bedside cabinets, reading lamps, and clock / radio. A walk-in robe provides ample additional storage space.

The En Suite Bathroom, with hi-flow shower, is smartly fitted out.

BEDROOMS 2and 3.

The bedrooms are fitted with double bunk beds and each has a built in wardrobe and chest of drawers which provide ample additional storage.

Adjacent to bedrooms 2 & 3, is a modern Second Bathroom that includes a high flow shower and a bath.

OUTDOOR PATIO

The outdoor patio includes a Gas Barbeque, dining table and chairs

GARAGE & LAUNDRY AREA.

A garage / large storage area is at you disposal. Qty 2 modern hybrid bikes are available for riding the local bike trails

The modern laundry includes a Washing Machine, Iron and Ironing Board.

The house is our holiday home and not a rental property. The house has centrally located Gas heating (during an extreme winter the temperature may fall to chilly -5) and in summer the house can be opened up to the ocean and bay breezes. All windows have screens. My wife and I use the house frequently all year round and we hope that you enjoy your stay.

LOCATION

Located in Blairgowrie central, off the Nepean Highway, some 46 miles from the Melbourne International Airport (Tullamarine) toward the end of the Mornington peninsula considered by most as Melbourne’s playground. Rental cars (deliver to door) , taxis, and bus services are available.

The locality enjoys an enviable location that is both secluded and tranquil, whilst still having convenient access to the following attractions:-

Walking Trails National Parks - 10 mins.
Blairgowrie Shopping Village - 10 mins.
Bay and Off Shore fishing in Bass Strait (leave Rye Jetty) - 10 mins.

Bay Beach (safe for all ages from 1 year olds +) - 5 mins.
Queenscliff Ferry to (Historic Queenscliff Town and Steam train) - 15 mins.
Melbourne - 60 mins.

The Mornington peninsula is popular all –year– round holiday destination that once discovered sees families returning year after year after year. While we prefer the ‘Winter’ / Spring time (July- Nov) because of the reduced crowds, access to local restaurants and serenity, most prefer to visit during the peak Xmas new year period.
