Wonderful apt., great people, good location!

This was our first non simultaneous home exchange. They stayed with us in October 2012 and we just stayed at their place in early May 2013. They are easy going, interesting and responsible people. No worries when doing exchanges with them and we really enjoyed having them stay at our place. My husband and I stayed here in Prague for 6 nights in early May. 2013. The apt. is just as pictured, nicely decorated, comfortable and an easy location by transit to downtown. It's also not too far for a nice walk to the centre. The apt. has everything you need to feel comfortable and at home. There is a king size bed in the bedroom, and we also had a friend from Germany join us for three nights as they now have and extra sofa bed in the kitchen / living room which was very comfortable. Bonnie met us at the Pankrác station and showed us the way to the apt. which was very nice. Also. she told us about the local fresh wine that is big in Prague and we went sampling together. There is a little store very near with groceries, etc, as well as the mall: Arkády Pankrác which has shops and a bigger grocery store (INTERSPAR) which has a wide variety of food and Organics. There is also a Farmer's Market every Wednesday between 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, situated on the main square in front of the Arkády Pankrác Shopping Centre. The area is quiet and is not touristy so you won't find a lot of English speaking around. Great little pubs, and inexpensive beer, wine and food, (there is still smoking allowed so don't be surprised in the pubs if it's cloudy). They were fantastic hosts and can help you out with anything you need as they are in another apt. in the same building. Fantastic first home exchange experience for us. Thank you so much for making my return trip to Prague after 21 years wonderful! Diane & Paulus
