Puerto Galera is a tropical island in the Philippines famous for its white sands, and dive sites.
Our home is located on a hill overlooking the scenic Muelle Bay, Puerto Galera and is a mere walking distance to some of the beaches, restaurants, deli and grocery stores, and market. The view is fantastic and the breeze is relaxing. It is the perfect place to study English by immersing yourself in the expat community by engaging in outdoor activities while you have the time of your life.
Language of communication: HOMESTAY with a native English speaker Host and his Filipina wife who is fluent in Tagalog and English.

1.Rooms - all the rooms are well ventilated, with bunk beds, and study desks with ample lighting. Rooms have separate toilet and baths.
2. Food - The Host will provide mostly 3 home cooked meals a day from local and international menu. The Host will provide pack food and shoulder the food at a restaurant for English Homestay students during any outdoor activity.
3.Housekeeping - beds will made up daily. Bedsheets and towels will replaced every 3 days.
4. Laundry - The Host will provide the service every week.
5.Outdoor Activities - The Hosts will arrange island hopping tours, tours to the nearby falls and streams,and arrange exciting activities like kayaking, snorkeling, dinghy sailing and even introductory scuba dives with Thursten and Jo Chapman at really low rates.
6. Activity Room - the room where the students and guests can relax and enjoy watching TV, use of computers and surf the internet. Board games available for their use as well.
The house is also available for backpacking tourists.

Gary and Betty Wilson are known residents of Puerto Galera. Betty is the towns dentist and Gary is known for baking bread and smoking fish that the expats love.
