Juan Dolio is a delightful beach town, ideally located between the Capital city of Santo Domingo and La Romana. It's a great place for families or couples seeking restful vacations, but also want the ability to take excursions to other regions. Most travelers to the Juan Dolio area arrive at the Las Americas International Airport, a 20 minute drive. Public buses (or 'guaguas'), travel east and west on the main highway, passing every few minutes. You have many choices, be it culture, shopping, dining and the nightlife of Santo Domingo, or great beaches, scuba diving and other attractions are all in Juan Doilio and La Romana to the east.
The resort staff can pick you up at the airport for a reasonable charge. Minimum stay is 3 nights. Rates may vary. Must be 21 or older to rent. Payment only via major credit/debit card or electronic check.
