2500 square foot home. All sleeping quarters are located upstairs. The downstairs has a separate study den, a play room for children, a TV room, dinning room and a bathroom. Upstairs has a loft, laundry room, and three bedroom w/ two full bathrooms. There are two high school located nearby. Roosevelt high school is less than 2 miles away. Judson high school is 5 miles away. The district provides free school buses to all enrolled students. The nearest private school is Saint Anthony's Catholic high school which is 12 miles away, but you would have to utilize a taxi service for this school. University of Incarnate Word is also 12 miles. University of Texas is 18 miles, and Saint Phillips College is 7 miles. The local movie theater is 2.3 miles away. The central bus station is 2. 5 miles from the house. The nearest bus stop is .4 miles from the house. We are a fun family and live in a lively neighborhood with lots of kids and teenagers. We are also active Christians, so we do go to church three times a week, but do not require the guest to participate if they do not want to. We go swimming in the summer, trail walks year round, and out to eat at least once a week. I can always upload pictures of my family, the home, schools and the surround area. Private Transportation is an additional cost of $500.00 monthly, not including 35% of gas cost. This transportation allowance is for to & from school, shopping needs for personal supplies and local to the market for snacks.
Laundry service is provided at no additional cost. Student is required to put away clean clothes and clean their personal restroom. If cleaning maid is requested, this is an additional $80 weekly charge, paid to the maid-order-service, not to host family.

About Homestay Owners/Managers:

My husband is a Quality Assurance Inspector and I work in the dental field. My daughter is 10 years old and is an Honor roll student, listed in the Talented Gifted Program here in the Judson Independent School district. My son is 3 years old and is learning new and exciting things everyday. I am a retired English educator. I used to teach 8th grade English Grammar and Composition and I don't mind helping with homework.
