We live in a comfortable, colorful 3 bedroom, 2 bath home on a double lot, complete with a yurt, chickens, a garden, lots of fruit trees, and a fire pit in the backyard. We call it our "little farm in the middle of town." We have a spacious well equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room/dining room, a back deck, a fabulous soaking bathtub, and lots of flowers. Outside our back gate, it's a fifteen minute walk to the beach. Our home is perfect for relaxing and taking it easy, entertaining friends, and is also perfect for outdoor relaxation and barbeques. It's a great family house, full of books, games, and toys for kids from 5 (our grandson) through teenage. There are nice views outside the windows...lots of flowering plants and birds.

About Home Exchange Owners :

We are a family of four, two adults and two children, age 15 and 11. I am 51, an author and a writing teacher. My partner, Karyn, is in her early 60's. She is a high school reading specialist and an Iyengar yoga teacher. Our two youngest kids are great students. Eli (15) is into marital arts, drama, and origami. Lizzy (11) is a photographer, a dancer and a surfer. We are all avid readers and love being outdoors. During this past year, I have been dealing with breast cancer and am just finishing treatment. We want to travel this summer as a way to celebrate the end of rough stretch in our lives and to relax after hunkering down through a long illness.
