My fiancé and I live on the east side of Manhattan (42nd street, between 1st and 2nd ave). We live in a one bedroom, one bathroom in a doorman/elevator building. We love our location because we have quiet nights with views of the east river and Chrysler building, but are a 2 minute walk from the heart of Manhattan, which we also love. Our building has 2 large private gardens that are well maintained and great to relax in. We are steps from the UN, a 5 minute walk to Grand Central (the subways can get you anywhere you need to go in NYC), and close to tons of great bars and restaurants.

The apartment is clean as we have a weekly cleaning service, there is a communal roof deck on the 22nd floor of the high rise, open eat in kitchen with a dishwasher, 42” flat screen in the living room, 32” flat screen in the bedroom, Time Warner Cable, Wi-Fi, and a landline. Washer and dryer are in the basement of the building.
