Foodies: my apartment is located just off "Eat Street"--a fantastic avenue of restaurants ranging from Ethiopian to Indian to Vietnamese and Mexican.
Art lovers: my place is five minutes from the world-famous Walker Art Center, Minnesota Institute of Art and Minneapolis College of Art & Design.
Minnesota is a terrific place to explore, but it's also an ideal "starting point" for an extended trip around North America. By plane, you're just 2.5 hours from New York City and less than 4 hours from Los Angeles.
My apartment will be empty from Oct 20 - Nov 5, 2008 -- so that would be an excellent time for someone to visit for a "non-simultaneous exchange."
I'm terribly allergic to cats, so if you have adorable felines at your house, I'm afraid I can't swap with you! :(
