A modest 60’s style ranch, single level home located in beautiful Lexington KY “The Horse Capital of the World”! Lexington is the 2nd largest city in the state – a mid-size city of almost 300,000 (645,000 in the metro area). My home is situated in a quiet neighborhood close to the 2nd largest indoor shopping mall in Kentucky as well as many other shopping outlets, movie theaters, a comedy theatre & numerous restaurants. Downtown with its many shops, historical areas, opera house, museums & art galleries, as well as its vibrant nightlife scene is only a short 10 minute drive. Beautiful Keeneland Race Track & Red Mile Harness Track are both just minutes away. A visit to the Kentucky Horse Park and world famous thoroughbred horse farms (over 500 horse farms in the Lexington area) are a must! Don’t forget the KY Bourbon Trail a total of 6 bourbon distilleries and 3 of them within the Lexington region! Within an hour to an hour & half drive you can visit Louisville KY to the west (with a stop at Frankfort – the state capital along the way) or Cincinnati, OH to the north! There is so much to do in the area but if you just want to relax in the comfort of my home with a quiet evening sipping wine on the back deck or in the hot tub – it’s up to you! Lexington is a wonderful place to do it all!
Any destination. Would really like weekend travel within a 2-6 hr drive from KY.

There is so much to see and do that there isn't enough room on here to list it all. Fall meet (horse racing) at Keeneland is in October. From horses, bourbon, wine & beer tours to UK sports & Minor League Baseball to downtown fun..there is something for everyone here!
