Our home, a modern house nicely furnished and decorated,with family room, home theater, master bedroom, bath with jacuzzi and separate shower, separated from other bedroom and bath. there is an outdoor patio with table, chairs, and umbrella, and a garage. From the house, there is a view of woods and lagoon. It is close to shopping, medical facilities, etc. It is in a gated, senior community (younger guests are OK) that features indoor and outdoor pools, 3 golf courses, a large theater with many great programs, 2 fitness centers, tennis, etc., etc. One half hour drive to Hilton Head Island, with its Atlantic ocean beaches, boating, fishing, unique shops, and, of course, championship golf courses. 25 minutes drive to historical and charming Savannah,with many fine waterfront restaurants; 30 minutes to Beaufort SC,with historical waterfront, and only 2 hours to Charleston, with its museums, Old Town market, art galleries, restaurants, and Fort Sumpter. Our location is very quiet and safe, with a woods and lagoon behind our house where herons and egrets feed, occaisionally with storks, anhingas, bald eagles and occaisional 'gator. Our golf cart takes you to nature trails where you can see deer, wild turkys, armadillos, etc.
