Hello. Are you interested in exchanging your home in Greece for ours on the scenic California coast 240 km/150 miles north of San Francisco? We’d like to stay in your home this coming June for 1 or 2 weeks.
We could do a simultaneous exchange, with you staying in our home at the same time we are in your home, or a non-simultaneous exchange, with you staying in our separate guest cottage nearly anytime that fits your schedule. It’s your choice.
We live on the Mendocino Coast in a beautiful rural area just 2 km/1.5 miles from Pacific Ocean on 5 hec/13 acres of gardens, meadows and redwood forests with horses and llamas next door on a quiet, dead-end, paved road. We are 8 km/5 miles from the coastal village of Albion, 19 km/12 mi from historically preserved Mendocino (an art, food & wine lovers paradise), and 30 km/20 mi from Fort Bragg’s fishing harbor, several Anderson Valley wineries, and two spectacular virgin redwood forest preserves.
Our 160 sq m/1500 sq ft home has 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, an office, and a south facing, sun-filled living room, dining room and kitchen. Just outside is a large beflowered deck with a hot tub, water garden and grape arbor for shading. Beyond that are extensive flower and vegetable gardens. Our guest cottage is clean and quiet with a queen bedroom, bathroom (tub & shower), comfy sunny living room, small kitchen and deck. To guarantee clean accommodations, no smoking or pets are allowed inside either building. And since I am allergic to pets, we cannot exchange if dogs or cats occupy your home.
