Ours is a traditional 1930's home with three bedrooms and two reception rooms. The kitchen has been extended to give a second dining area overlooking the private tree lined garden at the rear of the house.
We have all modern facilities appropriate to such a house ie central heating throughout, gas fires, telephone, broadband internet, bath, shower, gas cooker, washing machine, dryer, refrigerator, freezer, cable tv, dvd player and recorder, piano, radios, cd player and so on. The two larger bedrooms each have king size beds, and all three beds are pocket sprung. Our home is situated in a quiet residential area of Harrogate within easy walking distance of the town centre. Harrogate itself is a Victorian spa town with its Royal Pump Room and Baths based on sulphur wells and has a gentle and well-kept look. The spa town was one of the biggest in Europe during Victorian times with thousands of visitors taking the waters or undergoing "treatments". Nowadays, elegant buildings and hotels complement the modern International Centre in the middle of the town, with its exhibition halls and theatre. There are many good shops in our town, where you can find good gardens, spacious parks and the large 200 acre "The Stray" which is an open area of protected greenery and surrounds the town centre. Harrogate is situated at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park which is an area of great natural beauty a large part of which has been designated as one of the country's protected national parks. Not only have we some of the best walking, but if you enjoy the outdoors then there are plenty of other activities to keep you occupied. We have some of the best horse riding, mountain biking and cycling terrain in the country. Harrogate is centrally placed in the North of England and has excellent rail and road links. Leeds/Bradford International airport is merely 15 miles away.
