Campfire Safaris Private Game Reserve is situated in the Lowveld of the Limpopo Province of South Africa near the tourist town, Hoedspruit, 430km. north east of Pretoria.
We are part of the Balule Private Nature Reserve (65000 hectares) which is adjacent to the world renowned Kruger National Park.
With no substantial fences between us and Kruger National Park, no internal fences within our reserve and no animals in camps and cages (captivity), we offer our guests an unmatched stay in an open ecological system called the Greater Kruger Park - over 2 million hectares. Here the indigenous Flora enjoys maximum protection and our wild animals migrate freely between Campfire Safaris Private Game Reserve and Kruger National Park. This is not a man created Big 5 area. It is the largest of the few areas in South Africa that is still wilderness, as it was from the day of creation.
In camp there is 5 "rondawels", 3 bedroom house, swimming pool, lookout tower and 110 hectares for you to explore!!
