Our villa is situated in Education City, Doha, and has a pool, gym, games room and pool-house. In a secure compound with 24/7 security and a 7 seater car available to families with children. The villa is 300m2 with 9 air conditioning units throughout. There are two king-size beds and two single beds There is a well-stocked playroom for children. A mini-mall with supermarket, toy stores, electronics, cafe and bakery is less than ten minutes walk/30 seconds drive away. There are many large malls to visit. See the sights of Doha or make this a base to explore other parts of the region. Only one hour flight to Dubai. Qatar is a very safe place that is geared toward families with children. There are plenty of things to do, and things to keep children entertained.

As alcohol is illegal to drink in public, and a licence is needed to buy it. Qatar is not really set up to be party-central, so those looking for a party type of atmosphere, should consider going elsewhere.
July and August are extremely hot (sometimes over 50 degrees celsius) so you have to drive everywhere. Also, the month of August is Ramadan, so eating or drinking in public during daylight hours is strictly prohibited (excluding children and pregnant women), and all eating establishments are closed during these hours. After the sun goes down however, there is a festive atmosphere in the souks where families gather to shop and dine in a fantastic range of restaurants.
