Our house is a 5 minute walk to Cambridge township. Our lovely big decks overlook the mighty Waikato River and the local golf club. It is a modern executive home with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, in one of the best streets in Cambridge.
Cambridge is centrally located in the North Island of NZ. This makes it a great platform for day trips to major tourist areas such as Rotorua, Auckland, Taupo and Mt Maunganui. Hamilton, a city of 150,000 is only 20 minutes away. (We would consider leaving our car, and possibly boat to use).
Cambridge is a quaint, safe and friendly town best known for it's horses (equestrian and racing), rowing, arts and crafts and NZ antiques. It has many restaurants and cafes, as well as gallerys etc. The Rowing World Champs is next in Cambridge, at nearby Lake Karapiro (only 5 minutes away).
We are leaving New Zealand to travel Europe in September, and are open to a home exchange anytime from September onward, and any length of time. We look forward to hearing from you.
We are a late 30's professional couple, with 2 children of 3 and 5 year old. We have house-swapped once before very successfully, and we are respectful of other people's homes and property.
