Beautiful duplex steps from canal, daily outdoor fish market, transportation to Venice/Padova and lots of other great places less than an hour away (Verona, Vicenza, Bologna, Treviso, Adriatic beaches, Dolomites and winter skiing). We are located on the famous Riviera del Brenta where the large Venetian summer villas line the river banks. Just minutes to Venice by boat, train, or bus!

Our house if filled with art, music, films, and books in English and Italian, including lots of information in English on tourism, art, and cooking.

Gourmet kitchen with espresso maker, microwave, toaster, five burner stove with huge oven, dishwasher and easy sitting for 6. Downstairs bathroom has a shower and washer and dryer (impossible to find in Italy!). Upstairs bathroom has a bathtub with shower attachment. Master bedroom has a huge bed even larger than a King (two full mattresses put together) and the second bedroom has a queen size bed. Living room has a huge couch, flat screen TV with satellite channels in many languages, and french doors that open onto a terrace that overlooks palm trees and our neighbors beautiful garden.

New York City (Manhattan) July 2013 (we have a place in Montalcino, Tuscany as well and can do a double exchange - a week in each place if you would like. European cities for a weekend break throughout the year; or surprise us, we're experienced travellers open to just about anywhere!

Additional information:

We have a wealth of tourism information, as well as cookbooks and a gourmet kitchen so you can take advantage of the daily fish market (fresh fish pulled from the Venetian lagoon) and weekly local farmer's market just steps from our house. There is also a weekly KM 0 (local produce) organic market steps from our house.

About Home Exchange Owners :

We are an American and Italian couple so you will find everything (books, movies, instructions!) in both languages in our house. We work in the tourism industry in Venice and can design tours, etc. to make the most of your stay! Cynthia is also an art conservator and great cook and loves to introduce people to Italian art and food. Marco works in a luxury hotel on the Grand Canal.
