Ein Karem is an historic biblical village, the birth place of St. John the Baptist. My house has two bedrooms (one is an old cistern converted into a bedroom) a large kitchen, a large living room with a large outside porch overlooking the village. The garden is large and has a sun umbrella. There is a friendly cat to feed and a friendly neighbor to take over if you wish to travel. There are lots of restaurants, churches which have concerts, a grocery, vegetable store and kiosk.
