Our apartment isn't big, but it's very cozy. It has a small bed room with a double bed. The living room is nice and big with a sofabed that sleeps possibly two (couple). The apartment is bright and is on the second floor in a typicall Berlin style (AltBauhause) buliding.
We have a fully functional kitchen with a small eating-place and a nice bath with a tub. And for the fall/ winter of course we have a modern heater. We have also WIFI, TV, DVD, washer, dishwasher.
The building is located in Prenzlauer Berg, the very hip district of East-Berlin. From here you have great connections:
- 5 min to the ringtrain Prenzlauer Allee (trains to the center of East/ West)
- 10 min ride with the train to the famous Alexanderplace
- 5 min walk to the bar district Helmholtzplace
- 10 min walk to Shopping mall on Schönhauser Allee

- from Airport Tegel take Bus TXL till the S Beusselstrasse (8 min), walk to the left out untill the second street: Wichertstr (cross the street), turn again left, walk untill Nr. 48 (right entrance)
- from the airport Schönefeld take the S Bahn S 9 untill Prenzlauer Allee, walk to the left out untill the second street: Wichertstr (cross the street), turn again left, walk untill Nr. 48 (right entrance)
- from the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) take the S-Train S5 to Strausberg or S7 to Ahrensfelde untill Alexanderplatz (6 min), change to the Tram 2 (direction Am Steinberg), untill S Prenzlauer Allee, walk in the direction of the train, then left untill Nr. 48 (right entrance)
- by Taxi in about 30 min for about 25 €
