Very pleasant and chic apartment in Montelimar, France. There are two bedrooms, a large kitchen, living room, dining area, custom bathroom with walk-in shower and bath tub, toilet room with sink, and garden behind. The apartment is in a central location without being in the center of all the noise.
Walk 400 feet and you will find a picturesque river with running trails and benches, cross over the footbridge and you will arrive in the historical center of town where you can find everything: small grocery stores, bakeries, butcher shops, flower stores, boutiques (great shopping!), museums, cafes, cheese shops, and of course a Provencale French market every Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. There is just a fifteen-minute walk to the train/bus station that can easily connect you to Paris, Lyon, Montpellier, Nimes, and Marseille airports. While many of the buildings in the cobblestone streets of Montelimar are at least 200 years old, our apartment is located at the foot of an 11th century castle/fortress. This is an incredible region to explore for nature lovers and history fans alike. We are surrounded by incredible hiking areas and are close to the kayaking capital, les gorges de l'Ardeche. Montélimar is just 45 minutes from famous Avignon (theater festival in July) and Valence, and 1 hour from the Mediterranean beaches and sailing.
We will consider a car exchange as well.
Our home is available from July 6 until September 12. We are willing to exchange for part or all of that period.
