I live in a the little but beautifull old town at Annecy (see annecy.com), one Castle at the top with all the old town around it (1470). The Castle is between the lake (It takes 5' by feet to go over there) and mountains all around, so you can practice all the sports winter or do the mountain. Switzerland it's so close just 45 km from here. With the TGV train you can stay in Paris in just 3 hours. You can do the paragliding, rafting, and canyoning. Is just perfect if you love sport, nature and the good wine.
