Our property is a 3 storey waterfront house set in a private, gated, marina community in Aigues Mortes, Gard, Languedoc. The house has 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 balconys and a patio.
Aigues-Mortes is a Medieval city which is surrounded by historic remparts. Aigues-Mortes is in the heart of the Camargue with white horses, bulls and flamingos. It has amazing beaches and is great for fishing, hiking, cycling and sailing.
House has 3 bedrooms, the top floor (3rd floor)has a grand vaulted ceiling room, its double aspect with views of the marina and has a large covered terrace, giving Panoramic views of the canal and Aigues Mortes remparts. An ideal place to relax in the shade on hot days. The room has an ensuite shower room.
The other 2 bedrooms are on the second floor and both have two twin beds, one room is south facing with balcony and the other has views of the marina. Family bathroom also on this floor. On the groundfloor is an open plan living, dining, kitchen. Dining set for 8, large comfy sofas in the lounge, cable TV and wifi internet. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Patio doors lead to an enclosed south facing garden with patio dining set for 6. Garden fully enclosed,ideal and safe for small children. There is also a cloakroom on this floor.
Wonderful traditional mediterranean home. Ideal setting for walks to the historical walled townwith markets Weds and Sun. Cycle the canal or a short drive, or boat trip if you prefer, to the beaches of Grande Motte, Grau du Roi and L Espiguette. Boats can be hired from the Captainerie in the Marina, or boat rides operate on the canal 5 mins walk away.
10 mins drive to the beach, 20 min drive to Montpellier,35 mins drive to Nīmes, 1h 30 mins to Marseille.
