Description of our house
Our home is comfortable, clean, and spacious. It has a large kitchen with adjoining dining room. The deck overlooks a large fenced back yard that is private with a view of the garden and terrace with a pergola and garden furniture. We have also a piano in the hall. I love spending time in my home and having friends over, it is warm and inviting. We offer also a large and beautiful apartments in the center of Karlovy Vary. We have 10 apartments, three with two bedrooms and 7 with 1 bedroom. That is why can offer also non-simultaneous swaps also to more families. Our maid service will be here once a week to help with linens and laundry.

KARLOVY VARY - "Czech Deauville" World famous for its regenerative waters, Karlovy Vary is the oldest of the Bohemian spas, and probably the second most popular tourist city in the Czech Republic, after Prague. It's also the most beautiful of the 'big three' spas in the republic and, despite the crowds, the most accessible. Though you can't just pop in for a sulphurous bath or gas-inhalation therapy, you can sample the waters till your teeth float. There are 12 hot springs containing 40 chemical elements that are used to medically treat diseases of the digestive tract and metabolic disorders, so whether you have diarrhoea or constipation, this is the place to come. In spite of its purging qualities, Karlovy Vary still manages a definite Victorian air. The elegant colonnades and boulevards complement the many peaceful walks in the surrounding parks, and the picturesque river valley winds between wooded hills. The spa offers all the facilities of a medium-sized town without the bother; after hustling arou! And Prague, this is a nice place to relax amidst charming scenery.

Jiri was born in Kraslice and is a Dipl. Ing. and Jana was born in Karlovy Vary and she is a private dental surgeon. They are madly in love with each other and with their beautiful and ancient house which reflects their passion for art and history. They have a vast collection of 600 CD's which expresses their taste in modern and classic music. Jiri and Jana have a eighteen years old daughter, Marketa, and an twenty years old daughter, Katerina, both live with them. Both are students (Catherine will be a dental surgeon, Margaret a doctor). Jiri speaks english, german, czech and russian. Jana speaks italian, english, french, german, spannish, czech and russian. They have already swaped: Paris 5x, Lisboa 1x, Clohars-Fouesnant 1x, Rome 2x, Sirmione 1x.
