We offer a lovely 2000 sq. feet canadian-style house (called here semi-detached, right section on the photo on the right of the tree) located 15 minutes west of beautiful Quebec City (part of UNESCO world heritage) and 5 minutes from famous St-Lawrence river. Ideal for 2 to 4 adults or one couple with up to 3-4 kids. It can accomodate up to 8 persons if you use the inflatable bed (Aerobed brand) in the basement. Our home on 3 levels (with basement) includes 1 master bedroom (queen size bed) + 2 kid bedrooms (single bed) + comfortable hide-a-bed for 2 in basement (double bed). We have a charming first floor with living room including fireplace and an excellent piano as Andre is an advanced amateur pianist. We offer a fully equipped kitchen recently renovated (2007), one complete bathroom on 2nd floor and toilet + shower on 1st floor (also renovated 2007). Our very private yard has 2 equipped decks, a fireplace, an easy access to a wooded play yard and trail system accessible from the backyard for kid's fun or for wonderful relaxing or jogging. Private car parking and storage room for bicycles and other stuff you may bring.
Other equipement : air conditioner; deck with gazebo, patio set and BBQ for nice evening meals; DVD, Cable TV, telephone, unlimited high-speed internet, microwave oven, very good piano if you want ! Our house is in a quiet dead-end street (perfect for kids playing outside !) in a safe, quiet and very wooded neighborhood. It is known as one of the nicest and best Quebec suburb with definitely a countryside flavor ! Our neighbours including the one next door are all nice and quiet people who could help you if needed, as they became familiar with our home exchanges and they like to meet people from different regions and cultures ! Our neighborhood is well located west of Quebec City with easy access to most interesting tourist places (15-30 minutes). To do in the area: of course visit the famous Quebec City and its upper and lower old towns (you need at least 3-4 days), known as one of the most beautiful and romantic city in North America, part of UNESCO world heritage. But also discover the nearby St-Lawrence river (boat trips, hikes on the shore) and the Orleans island, Montmorency fall, the Duchesnay ecotouristic centre, the wilderness 30 minutes away in many parks and reserves (wooded mountains and pristine lakes and rivers). And so much things, just ask it will be a pleasure to inform you. http://www.quebecregion.com/e/ NOTICE: 2008 it is the 400th anniversary of the foundation of historical Quebec City with many amazing activities all year round not to be missed ! http://www.quebecregion.com/campagne_publicitaire/hiver_2007-2008/400/index-e.htm |
