Penticton is in the center of BC's wine country with several award winning wineries (especially Naramata) on the hills overlooking the lakes. Many full length professionally designed golf courses within driving distance. 15 minute walk to downtown and Okanagan beaches. Hiking/biking trails with amazing lake and mountain views and wildlife galore. Summer boat/jet ski/kayak rentals and plentiful beaches. Home of wine festivals, peach festival, Elvis festival, Beach City Cruise (classic cars) and the world famous Ironman Canada competition. Beautiful seasons with warm Spring, Summer and Fall. Winter with snow at Christmas and world class skiing available at Apex Mtn locally, Big White in Kelowna (1 hr drive), Silverstar in Vernon ( 1.5 hr drive). 4 hr. drive to Vancouver for 2010 Olympics or 45 min flight from Kelowna.
