Location

Our home is located in a sub-division of single family homes. The neighbourhood is quiet, safe, and family-oriented. There is a park/playground just down the street. Stittsville is about a 15 minute drive west of Ottawa. Stittsville was originally a small village, which has now developed into a suburban area. You need a vehicle as the bus service in Stittsville is geared primarily to commuters (at peak times during the work week). If you are driving, the Queensway (Hwy 417) will take you right into the city.

The actual village of Stittsville is a 3 minute drive. All major shopping necessities are available, as well as many other little shops and conveniences. In addition, we are within walking distance of Canadian Tire Centre - home of the Ottawa Senators professional hockey team and venue of many fantastic concerts, as well as a grocery store, coffee shop, and other retail outlets. There is a large regional shopping centre - Bayshore Shopping Centre - 3 levels of shopping for the true shopper in you!

Ottawa itself, has many shops, restaurants, markets…
Montreal (Quebec) is 2 hours away, and Toronto (Ontario) is about 4 hours away.
The New York State border is a 2 hour drive.
