Come stay in Canada's beautiful Capital City!! Ottawa is nestled within a vibrant and diverse region of Canada with many cultural and outdoor experiences to be had. It's only 2 hours by car (you can use our car) to Montreal, 4.5 to Toronto, 2 hours to Lake Placid, 3 hours to Vermont, 4 hours to Quebec City. Mont Tremblant is 2 hours away or Gatineau Park (hiking, biking, canoeing (we have a canoe you can use) and swimming) is right at your doorstep, just 30 minutes from Ottawa. There is a beach within walking distance from our house. Plus much, much more.
Our house is close to the Rideau Canal, a world heritage site, an enjoyable bike ride(we have bikes you can use)along the canal takes you into the heart of Ottawa and the bustling Byward Market, Parliament Hill and the National Gallery (plus restaurants and tourist attractions galore).
Our house is a comfortable and well cared for 1970's side by side. We have a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed and an ensuite; a second bedroom with a double bed (our son's room); a nursery with a crib and a matress on the floor ;); a finished basement with a large high definition television, a television room, an outdoor deck with a bbq that backs onto a greenspace; air conditioning; and a great neighbours!!! Our house is kid-friendly.
