Ma maison est située proche d'un grand nombre de restaurants, galeries marchandes, parc nationaux (avec sentiers de randonnées et de vélo de montagne, lacs), musées, centres culturels et lignes d'autobus.
De magnifiques pistes cyclables de plusiers kilomètres longent la rivière des Outaouais, qui est à 10 minutes en voiture. On peut tout aussi bien s'y promener à pied, à patins ou à velo ou encore faire son jogging.
Nous sommes à 15 minutes en voiture du centre ville d'Ottawa où il est possible de visiter le Parlement, flâner dans le Marché By, faire une belle promenade le long du Canal Rideau (19+km) où on peut louer les canoë et kayaks. Les lignes d'autobus sont trés proche et aussi facile à utiliser.
Ma belle maison est spacieuse et confortable avec 3 chambres à l'étage et une au sous-sol, 1 1/2 salle de bain, un garage, une piscine enterrée dans un grand jardin paysagé. Cheminée, climatisation, connexion Internet haute-vitesse. Notre quartier, très calme et sûr, est entouré de parcs.

The Neighborhood
Ottawa is set in the eastern province of Ontario, 5 minutes from the province of Quebec. Being the Canadian capital, Ottawa is a well-planned riverside city of beautiful parklands in Gatineau, national museums, libraries, art galleries, theatres, restaurants, the Ottawa canal and numerous nearby lakes and rivers. Many hiking trails in the Gatineau Hills.
It is ideally suited for people looking for an enjoyable holiday in Canada with just a 2 hour drive to Montreal, 4.5 hours to Toronto and 1.5 hour drive to the American border. You can travel by car, bus, train or airplane. Ottawa is a bilingual city (English and French), you will see signs with both languages, and hear French and English used extensively. There are a number of bridges that cross the Ottawa river from the Ontario side to the Quebec side. Once you cross the bridge, everything is French. It's like a whole new world across the bridge!
