Exchange Zones

Greetings fellow travelers!

I have a 1 bedroom, 1 full bath apartment for vacation exchange in the Lower Lonsdale neighborhood of North Vancouver. Its south-facing with plenty of sunshine and an unobstructed view of downtown, Stanley Park, and even the annual Symphony of Fire fireworks displays if your timing is right. The building is well maintained and quiet with few rentals. Secured underground parking may be available depending on the exchange, there are laundry services in the basement, and the building is equipped with an elevator.

The neighborhood is packed with restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, art galleries, and just about every other amenity a visitor would need. Lonsdale Quay, a popular market for fresh seafood and produce, is just 3 blocks away. However, Lower Lonsdale is still a quiet, safe, and uncongested neighborhood with nice shoreline walks.

Also at the Quay is the Seabus, providing 15 minute service to downtown Vancouver. From the Vancouver end, you can pick up the Skytrain for easy access to other parts of the city, including Vancouver Intl Airport. Busses also depart from Lonsdale Quay to North Van attractions such as the Capilano Suspension Bridge, Grouse Mountain, and world-renown mountain biking trails. The Rocky Mountaineer scenic rail service to Whistler is within walking distance (~2.5km), and boat rentals at the local marina are just around the corner. Basically, access to many points in the city is incredibly easy, even without a car.

My apartment is ~760 sq ft - comfortable for 1-2 people. There is a double bed in the bedroom, a small balcony, a full kitchen with D/W, cable TV, air-conditioning, and high speed internet access.
