Our house is in a pleasant suburb near Ottawa city centre with good bus links. There are three supermarkets and a health food shop nearby. There are good restaurants and shopping centres in Ottawa. There are museums and other interesting sites to see in Ottawa. Gatineau is ideal for people who like outdoor activities. The Gatineau National Park has over 356 square kilometres of forests, hills and lakes. In the summer, the trails are used by hikers and cyclists and in the winter for cross country skiing. There are also beaches and camping sites. The park is within walking distance from the house.
