Exchange Zones

Our house is located in Gatineau, a city by the Ottawa River just in front of Ottawa, Canada's national capital.

Our house has 2 floors: upstairs, there are 2 bedrooms with a king size bed and a double size bed, a bathroom and an office where you can have acess to high-speed Internet, while downstairs there are the kitchen and a the living area.

We are living next to a bike path that can takes you almost everywhere you want in the area (we have 2 new bikes that you can use). If you take it in one direction, you will get to Ottawa's heart (10 minutes bikes, 3-4 minutes by car, 30 minutes walking. In downtown, you will find the Parliament buildings, multiples museums and art galleries, the ByWards market, multiple shops and restaurants, and the famous Rideau Canal.

If you take the bike path in the other direction, you will get to Gatineau Park (a 361 km2 park) in which you can bike, hike, check for canadian wildlife. Gatineau parks contains a lot of lakes as well, some of which you can swim in. This park is ideal for nature lovers.

Behind our house, we have a small grass garden but may we suggest that you find a relaxing spot close to beach or rocks of the Ottawa river, which is approximately 15 minutes walk from our place.

For those who are interested to rent a car, Gatineau is about 2 hours from the exciting Montreal, 1 hours from the US border at the thousands island of the St-Lawrence river, 5 hours from the beautiful Quebec city and the interesting Toronto.
