Lovely home in private, wooded neighborhood. Close to beautiful Ottawa (15 minutes) and Gatineau Park for nature activities such as canoeing, hiking, camping etc.
Ottawa, Canada's capital city has galleries, markets, shopping and the best museums in the country. The parliament buildings are beautiful.

There are many free things to do in the area. We have bikes (3 childrens, 2 adults) and camping equipment available, if you would like.
Our house has a lovely yard: there is a pool, and a stream and woods. There is a fire pit for roasting hotdogs and marshmellows.
We have seen a porcupine, deer, a bear and racoons in the neighborhood!!
Day trips to Upper Canada Village (pioneer village with actors) about 2 hours from here), the famous Thousand Islands (2 hours) and Montreal (2 hours) can be visited.

We have 2 low-maintenance cats who can be left on their own for 2-3 days. We have a pet sitter if you are away for longer.
