Ottawa is Canada's capitol city, and home to beautiful bridges, the parliament buildings, museums and art galleries. The historic town of Aylmer was the first site of pioneer settlement in the Ottawa valley. Our house is also very close to lovely wilderness hiking/cross country ski trails in Gatineau Park and along the Ottawa river, where bear, deer, moose, beavers and other wildlife are regularly seen.
