The property is a modern, two-storey house with fantastic views across the lake in the suburb of West Lakes in Adelaide, South Australia. We are five minutes drive from beautiful beaches. There are buses to the centre of Adelaide and a big shopping centre with restaurants, supermarkets and a cinema 5-10 minutes walking distance.
Outside is a magnificent BBQ area with steps down to the lake where you can swim and do other water sports.
House contains 3 bedrooms plus study, 2 bathrooms (one on each floor), a modern kitchen with dining area and TV room. It is very spacious and has open living areas.
Location is very peaceful.
South Australia has many attractions like the famous wine areas, Kangaroo Island, beautiful beaches, Flinders Ranges and the outback.
We are a retired couple who enjoy the beautiful views and lifestyle provided by our house on the water in Adelaide, South Australia. Adelaide has a relaxed atmosphere which is different to the bigger Australian cities. You have everything here but without the rush of a big city. We enjoy doing day trips to other areas of Adelaide and throughout South Australia. We especially enjoy eating out as there are many fine restaurants close by us and in Adelaide and its surroundings. We regularly make use of our "swimming pool" (lake) to cool off during summer and Richard goes 3 or 4 mornings a week to the beach located five to ten minutes drive away. During summer we also eat outside overlooking the lake enjoying a good old Aussie BBQ.
