Our home is a rental however we do have permission from the agents.
Area:
We are close to some local shops including Supermarket & Organics Grocer.
10 minute walk (at a slow walk) to the bus stop.. could be done in 5.
10 minutes on the bus to a huge shopping complex.
10 mins on the bus to train staion, direct line to Melbourne (30 mins on train non express or approx 20 mins express)
A lot of parks within walking distance & although we do not have bikes here there is a bike path nearby.. manmade wetlands area next to the freeway where you can toddle down & feed the ducks.
Our neighbours are also very friendly however we are fully independant so you wont get any knocks on the door :)
Our home:
A 3 BR brick veneer house set in a quite leafy area, close to shops, freeway & transport.
It is a humble home.. clean & tidy.
We have 2 cats, goldfish & toys for young children.
The master bedroom has a king size latex mattress. 2nd bedroom a Queen size bed & playroom can be turned into a 3rd bedroom with childs bed if needed.
We should be over the coldest of winter in August but be warned do not have central heating. We have a gas heater in the lounge & portable oil column heaters for the bedrooms.
The cats will be here so would like to exchange with animal lovers as they will need to be fed as will the fishies. Our cats are pretty independant but do like a pat here & there.
Please Note: Non smoking people welcome only & as pets are here already we would prefer that no other animals join you in your stay :)
