Tudor Mansion In Leafy Setting in the capital of the sunshine state.
Brisbane is the capital of the Sunshine State (Queensland) with exciting shopping and nightlife. It is a short distance to famous surf beaches including Surfers Paradise, Snapper Rocks, Coolangatta, Byron Bay and Noosa. On the way you pass other famous attractions including Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo, Sea World, Movie World, DreamWorld and Wet & Wild. The hinterland has many national parks containing rain forests, mountain ranges and fishing lakes. As well as great surf, the coastal waterways also have lot of other activities including whale watching,wild dolphin feeding, sailing, fishing and kayaking. To the north is the Great Barrier Reef with awesome diving and snorkeling.

We have a large Tudor style house with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 living areas, 3 dining areas, secure double garage. Main bedroom has king bed with ensuite. Two have queen beds, Pool surrounded by secluded garden. Located in a leafy area, a bird watchers paradise with over 30 species regularly visiting us. Sunny aspect for winter & cool bay breezes in summer. Close to public bus service and mega shopping center, cinemas, boutique restaurants, gym & tennis courts. 27 hole golf coarse 2 minutes from home. Local walking & cycle paths. Picnic areas with free electric BBQ s in bushland park nearby.

We are a professional couple in our 50's who enjoy traveling, hiking, cycling and all water activities. We have hosted over 400 international travelers in our home We can provide accommodation all year round. We are open to all offers for exchanges. We will be holidaying in Hawaii for 3 weeks in May 2010 and would like to do a home or hospitality exchange.
