We have a typically Pyrenean Xalet (Chalet) house with 1 master bed room, a smaller room which does contain a double bed, and a large kids room with a 6 year old's bed and a sturdy large toddlers cot. The house is 200m2/2150sq ft with 2 bathrooms, conservatory, open fireplace, garden and spectacular scenery as we back onto a mountain, and are in a small community up in the North Valley of tiny Andorra, in the Pryenees mountains in between France and Spain.

Inc.washer/dryer, dishwasher, tv and wifi internet. The house is child friendly with lots of toys and a under 5 yr olds bed and a cot in one of the bedrooms.

Situated in the small urbanisation of Xixerella in the community of La Massana. We have the Xixerella Resort next door which offers Golf and Swimming pool. We are just 7 minutes drive to the Ski station at Pal in the Vallnord resort (www.vallnord.com), they do activities in the Summer also such as mountain biking and loads of things for kids. You can also easily hike most of the mountains here in the Summer.

This season 2012 there is now a new tunnel opened so you can also get to Gran Valira resort in 20 mins too. (http://www.grandvalira.com/en)

The ski season starts usually 8th December and close at the end of Easter, although some resorts may stay open until early May depending on the snowfall. By May the weather is very hot in the daytimes.

Having a car is necessary here and you can hire one from either Toulouse or Barcelona airports which are our closest. They are 2.5hrs away each, but you do get the most spectacular drive up into the mountains from either side.

We have the village of Arinsal about 5 minutes drive away where you can find a small expat Brit community with a few pubs and bars busy in the Ski season. The main town of La Massana is more Spanish and French and has a few restaurants worth visiting in it, and the surrounding areas of Sispony and Anyos.

The main town of La Vella is about 20 mins drive and great for Tax Free purchases!
