Enjoy a peaceful, quiet, comfortable stay in our Southwest Harbor 2 bedroom cottage (sleeps 5), nestled on a 1 acre wooded, private lot in a residential area just outside of town. It is located within easy access of Acadia National Park’s many hiking trails, ponds, lakes, Seawall , Echo Lake Swimming Beach, Bass Harbor Lighthouse, other villages, and sights on Mount Desert Island. Our home is an amazing place to relax, get a good night sleep, then be refreshed and ready to go on your next adventure.
New England style cape with 2 bedrooms, each with a queen, full bath, large fully equipped gourmet kitchen with all the accessories including coffee maker, blender, and toaster, dining room, and family room with WIFI, Cable TV, & DVD player all conveniently located on the first floor. Sheets, towels, linen, and spices included. Second floor is unfinished and not accessible. Enjoy flowers, birds, and wildlife in a quiet setting. Close to many views, harbors, several lakes, hiking trails, and biking trails. Bass Harbor Light 5 minutes away. Echo Lake swimming beach 4 miles away. Bar Harbor and its attractions just 20 minutes away. Visit Cadillac Mountain, Jordan Pond House, Park Loop Road, Carriage Road trails, Oceanarium, and Visitor's Center. Go carriage riding, whale watching, seal watching, shopping, or take a boat tour. Don't forget to try out some of the ranger programs. Catch the free Island Explorer Bus in Southwest Harbor to go to hiking trails, swimming at Echo lake, shopping, Bar Harbor, Cadillac Mountain, Schoodic Point, or most other places on Mount Desert Island.
